Pant miraculously escaped early Friday when his luxury car fell asleep at the wheel on the Delhi-Deradun Expressway when it hit a road splitter and caught fire. The 25-year-old Pant, who was on his way to his hometown Rookie to surprise his mother, suffered head, back and foot injuries but remained stable after an accident in Manglaur in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar district at around 5:30 a.m. Pant is currently in a hospital in Deradun.
