L&W Korea Casino Supplies Systems and Games to Mohigans S

Casino equipment and online game supplier Light & Wonder said it will supply system solutions and slot and electronic table games to the South Korean casino complex Inspire Entertainment Resort.

Located in Incheon, near Seoul, South Korea’s capital, the plan will have a foreigner-only casino. It is being developed by the Mohigan Tribal Game Agency, a U.S.-based tribal casino operator.

“We have been chosen to bring our portfolio of system solutions to Inspire,” Light & Wonder said in a press release on Monday. The contract also includes the installation of “complete complement” of light and wonder slots and electronic table games at the resort.

The announcement did not mention the value of the deal, nor did it disclose details of the products to be placed in the Inspire. 온라인경마

The press release quoted Siobhan Lane, the game’s chief executive, as saying the deal with Mohigan offered “a tremendous opportunity for Wright & Wonder in the Asian market.”

The announcement also quoted Jody Madigan, Mohegan’s chief operating officer, as saying that integrating “Light & Wonder’s advanced solutions” into Incheon properties is “essential to the success” of property operations.

Inspire’s non-game operations will begin in the fourth quarter of 2023, followed by games, which management confirmed earlier this month.

The first phase of the plan was previously described by Mohegan as a $1.6 billion venture. The property is located on 660 acres (242.8 hectares) and will be a “multi-stage” project, according to the group’s earnings presentation released with first-quarter results.

It includes foreign-only casinos, as well as three hotel towers with a total of 1,200 hotel rooms, a 15,000-seat arena and convention space, dining, shopping and entertainment facilities, year-round indoor water parks and outdoor family parks.

In a statement last week, Light & Wonder reported first-quarter 2023 revenue of $670 million, up 17.1% from a year ago. The increase was driven by growth in all businesses, including “a quarter of SciPlay and iGaming’s record sales.”
