Milwaukee Bucks pulled out a dramatic victory

The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Milwaukee Bucks pulled out a dramatic victory thanks to a game-winning buzzer-beating three-pointer by guard Damian Lillard.

Milwaukee defeated the Sacramento Kings 143-142 in overtime in the 2023-2024 NBA regular season at the Fifth Third Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, on Friday night.

Lillard was the difference maker.

Trailing 140-142 with 5.2 seconds left in the first overtime, Lillard capitalized on his final possession. Receiving the ball, Lillard dribbled alone down the lane, drew a defender, and drained a three-pointer for the game-winning buzzer-beater.

It was a highlight reel of his steady ball handling, shooting ability, and heart.

In the Western Conference, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 109-105.

Minnesota (28-11) has won two straight to move into sole possession of first place in the conference. Anthony Edwards led the way with 33 points.
