The company said all of the hurricane-affected Jameson hotels are open. Jameson Inns operates 18 properties in Alabama, six in Mississippi and three in Louisiana, but none are near New Orleans. However, Harrows Entertainment Inc. was unsure about the state of the property in the devastated region. The company said it still could not estimate the extent of damage to Harrows New Orleans, Grand Casino Biloxi and Grand Casino Gulfport in full, but it is certain that the latter two properties suffered extensive damage.

The president and chief executive of Mirage Resorts, Robert Baldwin, was teaming up to assess the damage at View Ridge but was awaiting approval from emergency authorities, the company said.
