The Hanwha Eagles lost the first game of the ‘2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League’ against the Kia Tigers at Hanwha Life Eagles Park on Wednesday, 8-4, due to the pitchers’ poor control of 11 pitches, including 10 strikeouts and one wild pitch. Their season record is 9-8.

After surviving the threat, the Kia Tigers scored a run in the top of the seventh. Seo Gun-chang led off with a walk, stole second base, and scored on Kim Do-young’s single to right field.
The Kia Tigers sealed the game in the top of the eighth inning. After back-to-back singles by Socrates and Lee Woo-sung against Park Sang-won and a wild pitch put runners on second and third, Han Jun-soo lined a double over the center field fence to load the bases, and Hong Jong-pyo followed with a single off reliever Kim Seo-hyun.
The Hanwha Eagles wasted their offense in the bottom 카지노 of the eighth.
In the bottom of the eighth, Hwang Young-mook doubled for his first career hit, and Ahn Chi-hong singled to left to score Kim Tae-yeon from second on a wild pitch.
