Kim Yeon-kyung sets Asian Games record

“I’m going to set a record”: Kim Yeon-kyung, the “Volleyball Emperor,” on his Asian Games commentary.

“I try not to say anything too straightforward because I want the viewers to feel comfortable, but I’m not sure if I can. (Laughs)”

The top commentators have gathered at KBS to commentate on the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games, which starts on the 23rd.

Former baseball players Park Chan-ho and Park Yong-taek, former soccer player Lee Young-pyo, volleyball player Kim Yeon-kyung, former basketball player Yang Dong-geun, and golfer Choi Na-yeon attended the ‘KBS Hangzhou Asian Games’ production presentation held online on the 1st.

“After watching the national team play as an advisor, I realized that I wanted to be a part of the commentary team,” said Kim Yeon-kyung, a first-time commentator.

“I’m still an active player, so I’m cautious about what I say,” said Kim, who represented South Korea in volleyball for 15 years from 2006, leading the team to the quarterfinals at London 2012 and Tokyo 2020.

“There seems to be a lot of expectations around me, so I’ll have to do well,” he said, “and I’ll ask for advice and try to make a record. I still feel awkward in the commentator’s uniform, but I will try to make my commentary comfortable and easy.”

“I have gold, silver, and bronze medals from the Asian Games, and I hope to pass on that experience to the athletes on the field.”

Kim also has a message of support for the Korean men’s and women’s volleyball teams this year.

“It’s not easy for men’s and women’s volleyball right now, but they’re all doing a great job preparing for the Asian Games,” Kim said. “I hope they can show their best despite the results.”

The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, China, 카지노사이트킴 from Aug. 23 to Aug. 8 next month. A total of 45 countries will compete in 40 sports and 482 events.
