Lee Kwang-soon and Shin Mi-yeon win KLPGA Cedars Group Champions Masters

Shin Mi-yeon and Lee Kwang-soon triumph in the KLPGA Cedars Group Champions Masters.

Lee Kwang-soon has won the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Champions Tour Cedars Group Champions Masters.

Lee shot a 1-over-par 73 in the second round of the tournament at Eveningdale Country Club (par-72) in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea, to finish atop the Green Division (40 and over – total prize money of 120 million won) with a final total of 1-under-par 143.

With a one-stroke victory over runner-up Lee Kwang-soon, the South Korean added to her victory total one year and eight months after the BOB Champions Classic in December 2021 to earn her 11th career Champions Tour victory.

Hong Jin-ju, the winner of the second edition of the KLPGA Champions Classic in May, finished tied for second in the Green Division (even-par 144) with Chun.

In the Gold Division ($30 million in prize money), which was open to players 54 years of age and older, associate member Shin Mi-yeon won her first title in 15 years on the Champions Tour with a final total of 1-over par 145, three strokes ahead of runner-up Lee Oh-soon (4-over par 148).
