Racecourse Media Group Appoints Dowding As Chief Betting Officer

Dowding takes over after the national and international betting teams merge. He was previously the betting director at Racecourse Media Group.

RMG decided to unite the team as more bookmakers are approaching rights acquisition around the world. Dowding will now oversee the expanded team and immediately take on a new role.

Dowding is a long-serving member of the RMG team who joined as head of partnerships in March 2013. He later became head of B2B and betting director, where he held the role of B2B for more than six years.

Prior to his stint at RMG, Dowding worked at Jockey Club, where he spent time as a sponsorship manager and local sponsorship manager.

He also served as a non-executive director of Boca Sports and has served at RMG for the past three years. 경마사이트

“Ben has a tremendous amount of expertise in the field,” said Nick Mills, RMG’s chief commercial officer. “I hope that he will lead the team to seize new international opportunities.”

Dowding added: “We are pleased to be asked to expand our responsibilities internationally. With this new collaborative approach to the domestic and global betting markets, there is an important and exciting opportunity to further increase the revenue and recognition of British and Irish racing.”

RMG is an affiliate of 35 shareholder racecourses with interests in Racing TV, GBI Racing and Racecourse Data Company. Content from the racecourses is broadcast by approximately 7,000 licensed betting offices across the UK and Ireland.

Racecourse media group membership courses include Aintree, Cheltenham, Exeter, Kempton Park, York, etc.
