Yoo grabbed eight rebounds on the night, an impressive feat for a rookie. Looking back at the last three games, Yoo has scored 10 or more points in all three games and is a strong Rookie of the Year candidate.
Yoo said, “I didn’t realize I had eight rebounds. I was boxing out while blocking Kim Jin-yu, and I thought I should get them somehow, but I think I got lucky with a lot of them. I think it was good that I was active and participated in the rebounding,” he said.
“During the break, I was passive and disappointed, so in the second half, I thought I had to be more active and make it my own. I felt my deficiencies from the cup tournament and tried to play defense with urgency and determination, so I think I made a lot of good plays.”
