The Indiana Pacers, on the other hand, are anchored by Tyreese Halliburton, who has established himself as one of the best point guards in the league. They also have a very good combination of All-Star forwards Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner, who they acquired midseason from the Toronto Raptors. However, they are rated as weaker than Boston on offense.
The other four experts favor Boston with 4-1, 4-2, and 4-1 respectively.
The West was interesting. Four experts picked Minnesota to win, while one picked Dallas to advance to the championship game.
Jasmine Wimbish was the only one to predict a Dallas win, saying, “Dallas will struggle under the basket. However, they have a much more solid core in Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. I think Dallas will win a hard-fought Game 7.
While all four experts predicted a Game 7, James Herbert was the only one to pick Minnesota to win the series 4-1: “Dallas didn’t have a great offensive performance against Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Finals. Minnesota didn’t have a great offense against Denver in the quarterfinals either. It’s going to come down to the difference in role players. Minnesota is stronger.
